Youth Peace & Justice Foundation Announces Strategic Recalibration: Discontinuing School Investigations to Maximize Systemic Prevention and Empowerment Initiatives

The Youth Peace & Justice Foundation (YPJF), having evolved its mission from its predecessor, The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, confirms a decisive strategic action by our collective team: the cessation of our formal school investigation program & move toward more mission aligned advocacy services..

This decision is integral to a comprehensive organizational recalibration designed to optimize resource allocation and elevate the Foundation’s impact on driving systemic cultural transformation and youth violence prevention across the national landscape.

This pivot reflects a fundamental shift toward fostering increased collaborative efficacy and empowering school communities through substantive, scalable programming, rather than engaging in reactive, logistically constrained external inquiries.

 

Additionally our very foundation blueprint is designed more in line with advocacy and restorative justice, rather than "investigatory."

That noted, when circumstances arise, the foundation will continue to receive information and advocate empathically on behalf of students/families & communities nationwide to ensure their safety, well being and positive contributions to their society..

 

Our most recent efforts have resulted in cases being referred by us to the Department of Justice, Department Of Education for Civil Rights/Policy & Others For Review.
