Financial Accountability Approach & Other Business Updates:

Our aim is to promote effective financial management, transparency, and informed decision-making. Our Executive Summary provides an overview of the Foundation's financial status, translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders.

Additionally, our financial snapshots summarize key performance indicators, ensuring accountability and mission transparency. We emphasize the importance of compliance, informed decision-making, and risk management to maintain public trust and support the Foundation's mission.

Further, our reporting highlights revenue sources, expense breakdowns, and strategic management to ensure effective resource allocation for its core initiatives.

Additionally, as of 2026, the foundation will be filing a more detailed 990ez as opposed to our current legal filing requirements dictated by the IRS, which we have maintained since our inception.

As of 2024, the foundation integrated more into the national communities by opting out of maintaining one central headquarters, opting instead to establish smaller, residency chapters & offices in communities served.

This in part due to our desire to utilize more financial support provided us, for programming & so as to allow us to even more intimately & directly serve our focus groups.

We continue to expand our national presence through this manner, joining other national organizations with fully remote or majority-remote staff & locations such as:

  • Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Midlands (Omaha, Nebraska): who recently transitioned to a 100% remote workforce in late 2021, and downsized their physical office space.

  • Susan G. Komen: is also fully remote, with their development team expected to be present within the community.

  • Tessitura Network: a technology company for arts and cultural organizations, has a majority of their staff working remotely.
