Walker County Schools - ILLINOIS
Foundation leaders are in discussion with both Walker County Sheriff Nick Smith and superintendent Dennis Willingham about potentially starting patrols on and near school grounds. Dr. Willingham provided an update the potential safety feature.
“This would be a very organized effort spearheaded by the SRO in that school community and through that organization everyone would know their place and know their role and it would just enhance what we are doing for safety for our children and our schools,” said Dr. Willingham.
