Youth Peace & Justice Foundation Youth Heroism Awards to Be Presented During School Pledge Ceremony on May 19
The Youth Peace & Justice Foundation announced today that students recently selected to receive the Foundation’s Youth Heroism Award will be formally recognized during a special school ceremony on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
The recognition will take place during the school’s regularly scheduled Pledge Ceremony, where approximately 600 students, parents, faculty members, and community supporters are expected to attend.
During the ceremony, school leadership will formally present the Youth Peace & Justice Foundation Heroism Award to the students in recognition of their extraordinary courage, leadership, and actions during a recent emergency situation involving their school bus driver and fellow students.
