FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Youth Peace & Justice Foundation Announces Summer 2026 Operational Hours and Program Focus Period

May 26, 2026

The Youth Peace & Justice Foundation announces its Summer 2026 operational schedule, effective May 26, 2026 through August 1, 2026.

During this period, the Foundation will operate under adjusted summer hours for general business activities, including case management, administrative coordination, interviews, grant funding research and applications, and routine program communications.
While general operations will follow the summer schedule, the Foundation’s **critical incident response protocols remain fully active**. Emergency response services, crisis intervention, and program deployment for urgent or time-sensitive incidents will continue without interruption throughout the summer period.

This structured summer period is designed to support deeper organizational work, including expanded focus on grant management, funding development, detailed case file review, and grant funding research and applications.

The Foundation will also utilize this time to advance internal systems and strengthen program effectiveness across all service areas.

As part of this annual operational cycle, the Foundation’s Ethics Committee will convene in **July 2026** to conduct a comprehensive foundational assessment review. This review will include evaluation of governance practices, program integrity, compliance alignment, and long-term strategic priorities.

The Youth Peace & Justice Foundation emphasizes that this seasonal adjustment is intended to ensure both sustained community responsiveness and strengthened organizational capacity, particularly in support of youth advocacy, crisis response, and long-term justice-focused programming.

Further updates regarding post-summer operational schedules will be issued closer to August 2026.
